Join the CLF Toronto for a virtual presentation by Ryan Zizzo, Founder & CEO of Mantle Developments on current and future embodied carbon policy in the Toronto region. Hear about the approach to embodied carbon in current voluntary policies such as the CaGBC’s Zero Carbon Building Standard and LEED v4.1, plus the growing list of mandatory embodied carbon policies including Waterfront Toronto’s Green Building Requirements v3, the federal government’s Greening Government Strategy, and the Toronto Green Standard v4 (launching in spring of 2022).

Additionally, Susan Rowley, Senior Sustainable Design Strategist, HOK will discuss the Passive House standard and how it will bring embodied carbon to the forefront of the building design & construction conversation.
